We’ve chosen July as the best time to go on safari for the Great Migration. The Migration reaches the Mara River in early July, now, so our safaris are timed for frequent wildebeest crossings. We get all of the excitement of the dust and crocodiles, and epic opportunities to photograph the leaping, racing herds as they plunge down the riverbanks. Many people don’t realize you can see the Migration from Tanzania as well as Kenya, but we know that little secret and we’re letting you in on it.

Both trips will also search the vast plains for Big Cats and the Big 5. The Masai Mara is known for fabulous cheetah sightings. The Serengeti is ruled by Simba, and we’ll follow some of the many prides of lions. Herds of elephants and secretive leopards, endangered rhino, stealthy Serval…these are just a few of our possibilities.

Each trip has additional jewels, whether dancing with Maasai warriors in Kenya or exploring the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, plus a few surprises. You’ll be pampered in the best bush style on safari. We’ve got hot running water and premium mattresses, plus the best cooks in Central Africa for every decadent meal.
